Certificate in Entrepreneurship

The Certificate in Entrepreneurship program has a unique program design allowing students with either business or non-business backgrounds to enroll into. The program consists of 5 modules, 3 of which are core and 2 are elective ones (see program design in Exhibit 3). This program, due to the two and a half decade old cooperation with Ohio University, College of Business has been fully “imported” and implemented at the Faculty of Business and Economics. The program is able to integrate students with diverging backgrounds to offer them (1) specialization track (BA Business Administration), (2) Certificate with business background (BA Marketing, Finance and Accounting), (3) Certificate with non-business background (from the other 8 faculties of the University of Pécs). The program has been validated by the Hungarian authority of higher education in 2015 and is to be launched in the spring semester of 2016.
