iEXPO - Students

WHAT IS THE IEXPO?

iExpo is an event where you can showcase your projects, research, business ideas, and, last but not least, your personal competencies and presentation skills in the form of a reverse job fair.

Furthermore, the event provides a great opportunity for companies seeking future employees to get to know you and potentially offer internships or job opportunities.

As part of the event, you will need to create a poster presenting your work. Experts will provide feedback and evaluate your work, presentation, and project. Concise and impactful presentations are preferred. IMPORTANT: Inviting experts to your stand is part of the task. Be open and don't hesitate to approach them!

At the conclusion of the event, we will award scholarships and tangible prizes to the students or student teams who have accumulated the most points and demonstrated outstanding performance, which are sponsored by our corporate partners.

Project Categories

Students collect and analyze data or information using various methods. This includes market research studies, statistical analyses, and other types of research that lead to significant conclusions on the examined topics. We are looking for projects that emphasize precise, data-driven approaches and detailed, logical conclusions.

This category includes projects aimed at identifying and solving specific problems, offering practical advice and recommendations. Whether it's analyzing an issue for a company or a nonprofit organization, the solutions must be practical and feasible. We are looking for student projects that showcase consulting experience and creative, professional proposals.

These projects respond to a social challenge or community need. They can include community-building initiatives, social sustainability programs, or advocacy projects that require effective communication. The goal is for the project to contribute to the well-being of a community or address important social issues.

This category is for creative, forward-thinking students who want to showcase new ideas, whether it's startup initiatives or technological innovations. Innovative projects offer solutions to specific problems in the form of new products or services that stand out for their uniqueness. We are looking for projects that demonstrate the feasibility and value of the idea.

This category is for students working on projects that incorporate artistic elements or design solutions. This includes graphic works, animations, photography projects, and any other creative visual creations. We are interested in seeing projects that showcase the students' sense of aesthetics and creative design skills, with particular attention to detail and artistic value.

This category is reserved for projects that do not fit into any of the previous categories. It could be any creative initiative that uses a unique approach or presents a new perspective. If your project combines elements from different fields or is something completely unconventional and difficult to categorize, this is the place for it.

Important information

· Each team will be provided with one cardboard sheet (size: 1m x 0.7m), which you can freely fill with content. This will be the exhibition poster, so make sure to include the name of your project! The poster should be visually appealing, so let your creativity flow! (If you need inspiration, you can view some of the previous year's posters HERE.)

· You can pick up the cardboard at the B315 office on the 3rd floor of the UP Faculty of Business and Economics building. (If you bring your own cardboard, please make sure it is also sized 1m x 0.7m.)

· Each student team must place their poster on a display board or table!

The teams are grouped into different zones, within which you can choose your own location. It is advisable to arrive early because good places are taken away fast.

· Registration will be on the 1st floor from 12 pm. Here you will receive your name badge and a paper with your team number and team name. Then find your zone (it is also marked at the paper you get at the registration) and choose the place that suits you best and put the the paper with the team number on the choosen table/display board.

· After that, from 13:00 pm the iExpo starts, the experts will arrive and it is your time to shine!

· Have the courage to approach the experts, invite them to your place and present your work in 1-2 minutes!

· This year, the experts will be "handing out" unicoins virtually, so if they find your project good, the experts can vote for you at an online surface.

· At 15:00, the evaluation of the projects will end, the votes will be counted and the winning teams will be announced in the Molnár Kálmán Lecture Hall (ground floor 018) of the UP Faculty of Law.

· In the spirit of sustainability, please bring a water bottle to the event, as you will be competing from 12:00 to 16:00, including the ceremonial award ceremony!

· At the event, visit the selfie box (on the second floor) and take a picture with your team!
