This year, for the first time, the International Hackathon was held in person!

The International Hackathon took place on April 24-25, 2024, at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pécs, where nearly 90 Hungarian and international students from 17 student teams participated.

Since this year's International Hackathon was organized with the collaboration of the Sustainability Center and the Hydrogen Center, within the framework of the one and a half-day boot camp, we challenged the students with an unusual but intriguing task: to develop an educational strategy that promotes the spread of knowledge about hydrogen as an energy source and increases social awareness and acceptance.

In addition to tackling an exciting problem, the course provided an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their teamwork and presentation skills, as well as their creative thinking.

The students' work was supported by the expertise of the corporate partners and instructors of the Faculty of Business and Economics in Pécs.
